This policy explains what SightZero stores across the website and Windows app, what stays local on the device, and how license, analytics, and update data are handled.

Information we collect

When you buy a license, we may collect billing and transaction details needed to complete payment, deliver the license code, and support your purchase history.

When the app redeems a code or syncs premium usage, we may receive limited device identifiers, hashed hardware fingerprints, IP-derived location signals, app version, platform, and aggregated reminder or analytics counters.

What stays local on your device

Reminder state, local app preferences, and most runtime behavior are designed to stay on the device. Premium eye-tracking analysis is intended to run locally after you enable it.

Raw camera video is not part of the normal website redemption or analytics pipeline. If that ever changes, SightZero must disclose it clearly before collection starts.

How we use the data

We use collected data to deliver license codes, verify app redemption, issue signed entitlements, protect premium payload downloads, rate-limit abuse, keep subscriptions in sync, and support update checks.

We may also use transactional contact details to send purchase confirmations, license delivery emails, service notices, or security-related messages.

Desktop security and update checks

The app may contact SightZero.Website to fetch signed release manifests, premium bundle metadata, premium asset downloads, and entitlement-backed stats sync endpoints.

Those requests may include identifiers needed to verify that the request came from the redeemed app installation and not from an unauthorized copy.

Sharing and processors

SightZero may rely on hosting, database, email, and payment providers to operate the service. Those processors receive only the information needed to perform their part of the service.

SightZero is not presented as a data-selling product. We do not describe the service as selling personal data gathered through wellness usage.

Retention and contact

We retain purchase, license, and security logs for as long as needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations.
